A Work Outfit For All Seasons

Finding a work outfit that is appropriate no matter the season is a bonus for your closet! I’ve had this navy blue blazer and red dress in mine for several months and just this week paired the two for an office meeting. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Navy blue and red are a classic combination and can work any time of the year. I’ve worn a different version of this mix before in this post.

Easy Tank Dress for a Summer Concert

My 14-year-old son, Chase, has been taking guitar lessons since he was in 3rd grade. He started with my older son, Hunter, but Hunter has moved on to other interests. Chase, on the other hand, has stayed with his lessons and has improved considerably over this last year. I never thought that he would be interested in anything more than lessons but a few weeks ago he asked if he could play at an open mic night somewhere. Surprised, I asked him if he was sure, and when he said yes, I contacted the owner of a restaurant that we visit quite a bit and asked about him playing at her open mic night. Chase was pretty subdued the whole week leading up to his performance. I, on the other hand, was a nervous wreck! A huge storm with thunder, lightening and strong winds had roared in just a few minutes before the open mic started and all the patrons on the restaurant’s deck ran inside.
